AJ Michalka is an American musician, performer, artist, and former model, famous as one part of the band "Aly and AJ. She sings in the duo with her sister Aly Michalka. AJ Michalka was born and raised in Torrance, California. Her mother Carrie was a gifted musician. AJ was a part of her youth in Torrance in addition to Seattle as well as Milwaukee. She began playing guitar as well as piano in the early years of their lives. At the point they were stepping into the teen years, they were well-versed in their domain.
